I have an 05 C320. As of today (07/19/08), Thule.com's fitment guide does not list any compatible base for my car (strange I thought). Only a few months ago, I thought I came across one. I have an existing Thule square load bar, 2 Peloton mountain bike racks, and a fairing from my previous 03 ML350 which I traded-in last November.
Question:
1) Does MBUSA have an OEM roof rack for this car?
2) Those who use a bike rack on this car, which ones do you have?
I really need to get just the right foot pack and fit kit that would fit my car so that I dont have to re-invest in a whole new set of fairings, loadbars, and bike rack.
S4toML - So I've seen C's here in London with bike racks on them - and I'm pretty sure one was at least Thule bars and racks - I remember a sticker on it.
As far as I know you only need to worry if you have a panoramic roof - the feet are really tall.

Thule makes a kit for the W203, but doesn't offer it in the states for some reason. The strange thing is that they offer in the states a virtually identical kit for the Audi TT, of which there are far less than our cars. Then again, a lot of their stuff like racks are different in the rest of the world also.
Even if you get the 1204 fit kit for a W203, it won't work with the square load bars we have in the states. They need to have slots milled at both ends and adjustment screw mechanisms. I made mine by using some old load bars from a Taiwan-market Toyota Corona that I had laying around from my ex-pat days.

UK and lkfoster, thanks for the replies. I need to put two mountain bikes on the rack and be able to still drive +/- 80mph without worrying if the rack will hold. Therefore I can't afford to rig up something custom that might fail since I dont trust my own rigging skillz if you will .
Yakima has a nice setup but that means I would have to reinvest atleast $400 for a new setup (feet, load bars, racks, fairing). I still can not believe that THULE does not have one for the W203 (side note: MB produced 630,000 W203's)
