Hey i'm not sure if this is out of the ordinary buy my 07 w203 used to turn the front fog lamps on when the lighting switch was set to auto until a month ago. Now in order for them to come on I have to pull the switch out and set it to turn on manually. Is there a reason why this is happening? Is it a setting?
fog lamps does not turn on in auto mode in any w203. you can have the fog lamp set to turn on when the turn signal is on however by the Star Diagnostic if you have the 05-07.
yeah i noticed that there was no indication of the fog lamps turning on while into auto mode in the manual but i assure you they did the first couple of months since buying the car. has this happened to anyone else?

Nope. I've always had to pull the knob to the the fogs to come on with my 07.
