I have a C230 coupe and I am looking to replace the headlights. I have a couple questions.
Has anyone tried puting sedan headlights into a coupe?
What is the difference between the coupe and sedan headlights?
Are there any aftermarket headlights available for the coupe?
With some duct tape you can fit the sedan headlights on the coupe, give it that redneck look. Send picture to Jeff Foxworthy, he can include you in his monologue.
Just look at the two headlights, they are not even close. The coupe looks like Mickey Mouse ears, the sedan's looks like a peanut. Check ebay for aftermarket, if it exists, it will be on ebay. Doesn't say waht year your car is (update your profile) but you can use 2005 headlghts, they were clear.
The Coupe headlights look more like the CLK lights. To cange the headlight casings, you would more than likely have to change the hood, too, as the dips in the headlight corespond with the dip in the hood. I am not sure if it is feasable, though.
