Lightbulb Wheel Spacers

Thinking of installing 20 mm wheel spacers for a wider look. Any downfalls to that? Can you post the pics of your car with wheel spacers just to see the variety and how it looks?
Any specific brand anyone would recommend? I got stock rims, which i dont plan replacing, and lowered with Teins.

5mm spacers

I have them just on the front so my rims/tires clear the suspension. You'd def need longer bolts and I heard that the more 'spaced' your car is the worse off your handling is. Don't know how true that is. My car rides better due to the larger rims.

I think 20mm will stick out too far, past the body, and that would look bad. I would recommend 10-15mm at most. Widening the stance of the vehicle will increase handling a little, but if you go out to far it will degrade the handling. I've been looking into spacers for my car, but I wanted to use 5mm, and I'm only finding 10mm lowest... 10mm might work out pefect though, but it seems a little too much.

I have 10mm front and back and think it gives it a great look. I have heard that you are not supposed to go more than 5mm in the font or it will throw off the suspension but im all good.

on stock wheels 15mm will be plenty. H&R hub centric spacers are the way to go. You do need longer bolts if you decide to get spacers. I personally would just look for a set of 17" take offs from other sports sedan owner if you don't want to spent a lot of $$ on wheels. They usually go for around $500-600 for a nice set of 17" sport wheels.

wider = more stable, but also = less turn in response. however with stock 16's and basically touring tires you won't feel any difference.

for the H&R spacers they're about $100-120 a set. you'll need two sets if you want to space out both fronts and rears. IMO it's better to save the $$ and do as I suggested in the first paragraph.
