I have several questions regarding the suspension set up that I need answered. I would like to lower my 03 c320 to a sportier suspension. I was thinking about purchasing an eibach pro kit since i've utilized this set up on another car. How much would it cost to have the springs installed? Additionally, what is the factory offset for an 03 c320? 35? I plan on running 18 x 8s on all four corners. Would I have fitment issues or rubbing? Is there any other suspension upgrades for Mercedes like a strut bar ect? I appreciate the responses.
Your car is a 4matic. Lowering springs are hard to come by. Only vogtland and H&R makes them but they don't import them to the US. Try Orange Tuning in Germany. They will ship them to you but it is pricy. Vogtland doesn't have them on their websight but if you call them they can get them for you. Also need to be shipped from Germany I think. Good luck.
I paid $330 to for the Eibach installed in L.A. on my 2002 about 5 years ago. Shouldn't take more than an 90 minutes labor to install.
Firestone said it would take 5-7 hours and quoted me anywhere from at least $500-$1000. I've been entertaining the idea but for that money i'd pass on it.

5-7 hours is a bit to long. I used to work for a local speedshop and we lowered them in 2-3 hours depending on the situation. Price quote is a bit high also but I could see $500+ being max but again this was a few years back so maybe prices have changed I would still shop around.

Are you bringing them the parts? A lot of auto places, especially a franchise like Firestone, are losing money on jobs like this because they lose the markup on the parts that they would normally sell you to do the job so they get you on the back end by saying the labor will be so and so.
You ask them why so much and to quote a local shop, "Would you bring your own steak to a restaurant to have them cook it?"
California has a cheapest labor cost for modding the cars because of the competitive market.
don't know if it holds true for NC, but a friend who go to Indiana State said he had his springs installed on his C32 for $300 I believe. compare to CA which is usually around $100-150 for spring install.
