So I found the pre-wiring under the armrest for the mercedes phone. I currently own a 2005 C230K. I currently use a Samsung BlackJack I. What would I need to purchase in order to be able to use the bluetooth radio handsfree phone control system in my car?
You'll need the MB phone kit and the bluetooth kit, it's going to cost a lot. Many dealers will put it in for ya for about $2,500-3,000. Argos was going to make a kit for your car, check with them. They make it for my 2004 but it's $800 and it's not worth it. I use the BlueAnt Supertooth speakerphone and with it's noise cancelling and portability It suits me better anyway.
There's a company working to get the Parrot to work with our cars. So you can get the parrot, plug it into the radio with a harness and use the phone and volume buttons on the steering wheel to connect/hangup/change volume, etc. I ordered a Parrot and harness for my Canyon and I'll play with that until they get it for our cars and then try that.
If you are not familiar with the Parrot, it works pretty close to a factory unit. It automatically turns on when you start the car, automatically connects to your phone, uses the speakers from your car stereo and mutes the radio when you get a call and if you can use the steering wheel controls, you won't have an external gizmo. It also has it's own voice dialing. What won't happen is you won't be able to use the radio keypad to dial and you won't get caller id on the MFD but they do have a model that has a seperate display for this if you want. Their least expensive unit, the CK3000 is $99 on ebay with free shipping.

As I understand it, if your car already has certain MB cradles (I have a Motorola v60i) you can buy their Bluetooth puck and choose from (what was) a short list of compatible phones. When I bought mine over a year ago it cost $275 at my dealer so it's probably more money now.
