I have a 2004 C230 sport, manual 6 speed, heated seats...got it for xmas two years ago so i cant complain. yesterday i was out and about and the right side ac was blowing cold, and i mean really cold the drivers side was blowing hot air enough to where it might as well of been winter. both temps were set at 72. i tried to cycle the air inside the car to counter the issue no avail. any idea's on what is going on?
This has happened to myself two times so far. Strange to that it is also my right side vents that start blowing hot air. When it happens I correct it by adjusting right zone to 82F, then back to 62F, and then moving the vent selection dial in a complete circle back to original position. There has to be a rod getting jammed up at times, and this seems to unlock it.
