Need help with W203 EIS SYSTEM WIRING

Just bought a C200 Kompressor automatic 2001.

The ignition key is not turning but it will opperate the central locking and is definatly the correct key as iv started the vehicle with it before. The battery voltage is good and no fuses are blown. I need information about the wiring system if anyone could help?

Has anyone heard of this problem before? Will be glad of any information concerning the fault.

if neither key turns in the eis you probably have a faulty eis. you could have a blown fuse but you will only know if you check.
