C230 Kompressor idle surging
Has anyone run into this--- I have an 04 C230 kompressor 80K miles- I had zero problems with this car. At Idle ( only when hot) the idle surges up and down quickly about 200 rpms (hunting), it sounds like a miss,rough idle and intake backfiring. It runs fine before getting to operating temp. If you lift it off idle (1200rpm, no problems). Highway driving - runs great.

did you had the recall done? if not...check for oil leak from cam.
