E85 on a 05 C240 - Benzworld.org

Hey MB gang!

Due to the high gas prices i happen to find out that my 05 C240 can be put E85 fuel. My question is: Do i have to do any special arrangements (ex, empty out the whole tank of premium gasoline or put a special oil to clean the engine to prepare the motor for E85 consumption)?

And finally what would be the gas mileage on the car when using E85?

E85 makes gas mileage go down.

However, I'm interested to know which years can take it, as I have a 2003 C240.

The 2003 C240 cant handle E85, as far as the following link tells, download the excel file and it will have a little chart of the mercedes cars that can handle E85.
