Dented aluminum interior trim

Does anyone else have this problem. I have a 2006 and it seems like the slightest bit of pressure dents this trim. I would like to replace it with the newer 2007 wood or black trim. I do not want aftermarket I would like to replace with OEM trim. Any ideas on the cost? Has anyone done this.

Expensive - Especially if you go new OEM from the dealer. Your best bet may come from a wreck - or contacting a wrecking / recycling yard. Potomac German Auto is showing a nice set on eBay right now (6/23/08) Item number: 180255758669...

DON'T FORGET ABOUT YOUR DOOR CARDS - UPPER TRIM AND WINDOW SWITCH SURROUNDS!

The "aluminum trim" is nothing more than aluminum foil wrapped around a PC/ABS plastic part. The actual aluminum I measure at about 00.030" - and it DOES ding easily - I already replaced my upper driver door trim due to a quickly released seat belt...

Good luck -
Jake

You also can find replacements on Ebay. I have seen a few on there.
