haven't retint mine, but when i do i'll live and die with heat resistant 3M velcro soft side.

If you tint your windows without doing the moleskin protector or what I used, the soft half of a strip of velcro, dirt that gets trapped between the glass and the hard plastic strip on the inside of the window will scratch the tint. Some people don't like the scratched up tint, some don't mind.
