Its been a while since I've been here. Sorry if the following topic has already been discussed but I could not find anthing on it.
Last week I took a long 6 hour vacation drive to the beach. I gassed up at about the 3 hour point. When I got to my vacation destination, I unloaded my luggage and decided to go out for a bite to eat.
My 2003 c240 has about 50k miles on it and it stalled out while I was doing about 10mph. It did it again a minute later while I was parking. This was Sunday, the beginning of my 1 week vacation. I was scared as hell that I had a problem. I called the benz 800 number and they told me that since no warning lights were on--it was probably a fluke. The rest of the week the Benz ran fine and did fine on the 6 hour trip back home. It has run fine since.
Was that a fluke? Did I get some bad gas? Anyone else experience this with a 2003 c240? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
