I have some problems on my wifes 2004 C240 4matic:
when lights on, rear license plate left light lights up for several second than offs, than up again and off.
After several attempt it off, until switch off and on lights.
I chacked wiring and found, that problem comes from module in trunk.
Had you such problem?
My driver Infrared does not works, dealer wants to replace. Have some one tried to reapir?
