I have an 03 c230k coupe. This summer it appears that I may finally have some cash to spend on her. I am looking into the perchase of some nice rims for the car. I searched the forum but I couldn't find a thread that had some good sizes that I could go by. I think I want 18 inch rims but I dont know if they'll fit. Also I dont know anything about width or offset. Any help would be appreciated.

Also I am looking to buy an exhaust as well. I am looking for a relatively quite one but I also want a little performance boost from it. Can anyone tell me which one is best? Thanks

I have 18 x 8" rims on all four corners. the Offset in the back is 37 while I had to put on 5mm spacers in the front to allow room for the suspension components so it is a 32 offset in the front. I decided on this set up because larger rims are heavier and the tires are more expensive.

As far as exhaust I can't really help you with that. Sorry!

Would those wheels fit on the coupe? 18 x 8 would make me happy....what size tires as well? Forgot to include that question

The 2005's had 7.5 x 18 ET37 Front and 8.5 x 18 ET 34 Rear as an option, even if you have code 486 (Sport Suspension). The alloy AMG 18 inch wheels were code 782 that year. The offset on 17's were 36 or 37 Front and 34 in the rear. For the 18's it is 37 Front and 34 Rear using the staggered tire setup. The 18's came from the factory with 225/40 Front and 245/35 Rear.
