Just got the car, and am getting to know her a little better. Named her Lola. She a hookers lipstick red sedan and has replaced my ML320 as my daily driver. She came with the nav system and I am trying to figure out if I have the most recent disc....I don't think I do, and the Navteq site isn't very helpful when it comes to the version, they say the most recent is version 5.0.....my disc is labeled 2005.1. Anyone have the most recent DVD update, and willing to tell me what the label on the disc says for version number?
Also, anyone had the iPod kit installed by a dealer? If so are we talking major cost?
I need to go to the dealership to update my disc so I am also looking into information regarding this. Do you have any sites that could provide information regarding what the updates include?
okay, answered the iPod for myself....761.00 for part and install from the dealer. Guess that FM transmitter may be the way to go. And I was so looking forward to getting the Disc changer out of the glovebox, and the manual back in there.....
