BAS visit workshop + speed cruise limiter not working
Hi, i am experiencing problems with my Mercedes W203 C320 '01, 109.000km. Two months ago this warning showed up for two days and then disappeared, but last friday it showed up and after several start/stops and more than 120km it is still lit and my speed cruise control is not working either. Everything else seems to work fine.
I ve read it could be the brake pedal switch, but there are many other things like speed sensors, refrigerant liquid leaks, acceleration sensor at the steering column, another thing that for to be solved must turn to limit the steering wheel 3 times, and whatever, so my question is....
Is there anyother mb customer that had the same problem and have the right solution?? i am almost sure on the brake pedal switch but the others bring me nuts.
Have you tried checking your battery? When the battery is getting weak and the voltage drops you get ESP, BAS, ABS warning messages etc. I think this is the first thing you should check.
hi, i think you are right and i should double check the battery... how much power does it should have?? +- 13V stopped aint??
I talked about the warning with a dealer here and he thinks it will be the brake liquid bomb, but i havent read anything here that says so... should i ask another workshop??
i will check the battery with my voltimeter tomorrow and tell you... anyother opinions are welcome
Now the warning light has disappeared again.... maybe cos ive done 150km today and the battery voltage has uprised... on monday ill take the car to the workshop to read the codes, i hope they will be in the memory so the dealer can tell me what was wrong.
