outside temperature sensor reading 85 degrees constantly

I just had my bumpers removed and repainted. When I drove the car home the outside temperature sensor was reading a constant 85 degrees. The maual says that the sensor is in the front bumper area. Does anybody know what might of happened?

It may have been damaged upon removal or installation. Or maybe it is unplugged?

It is probably disconnected... they usually read -36 or +85 if they are... sounds like they did not reconnect upon reinstalling your bumper cover.
