Unhappy Service B already?!?

I had an A service done last May on my 06 C230. . .It now has 18k miles on it, and has been reading B Service due in 4700 miles. Today when I started it up, it read "B Service due in 30 days." WTH?!? Does the computer keep track of miles or time passed? I feel like I JUST did the A service. And does letting it go past the 30 days mess with my warranty?

It goes 1 year between services or like 13,000 miles, whichever comes first. You could probably go over a while, if you really wanted to.

spoke with the mechanic at Merc about mine, here in UK. Its just like Audi where it computes when you need a service based upon how you drive. Canter along the motorway, barely using the brakes etc, and you'd get like 14k mile intervals like me. Cain the crud out of your car, town driving and short runs, then it might tell you to pop in within 1yr or 10k miles (maybe less, who knows). So if you're doing 13,000 miles a year on the motorway, then expect a service about every 1 year.

Send a message via AIM to Tri-Star
I'd say service is due about every year.
