P1027 Mixture too rich

Hi all.A C-class-WDC2030352R003002 drove to my garrage on last saturday.I found that the Engine check light was on.I connected the DAS and ran Quick Test. One of my technician erased the faults memory without my order, and the check light was gone.today, the car came back to my shop with the same problem.P1027-selfadaptation of mixture formation, mixture is too rich at idle speed. (STORED). I monitored the actual values, all are in the range.I opened up the Air Cleaner and see,the Air Cleaner as dark as the charcoal. Is it the possible problem?

This sound like the same self adaptation code mine gave when the cam sensors leaked oil onto the O2 sensor.

Neither, it's a silver 2001 C180 with black cloth interior, japanese specs so probably right hand drive. The 2001 C180 used the M111 motor destroked to 2 liters and no kompressor. Probably a dirty MAF, also the cheapet thing to try and clean. Search the forum for how to clean a MAF.

Streetglower, here's the place to check out what a car has by VIN - Mercedes-Benz Club Russia | Mercedes-Benz / VIN
