Excellent work "Spoons". Thank you. Do you purchase your oil filter's from the dealer or do you shop online? If online, can you recommend a site? Can you recommend a site for the oil extractor? Thanks again.

Spoon,
Where did you get your oil extractor and for how much? (Best looking than most that I've seen). Excellent DYI for many of us. Thanks

Nice.. I was wondering where I seen an extractor like that at before now I remember.. I work right across the street from Grainger that sells them
Fleet & Vehicle Maintenance > Lubricants > Fluid Evacuator > Fluid Evacuator,Manual : Grainger Industrial Supply
Now using the extractor method, is it better then the ol fashion drain from pan? Will the extractor actually remove all the old oil and possible debri if any from the oil pan?

Just wondering - if I read that correctly, this seems to imply this engine has an electric oil pump. Which other engines have electric pumps? Also wondering why they went this way?
