2004 c230k which air filter

Ok, the dealer wants 60 and change for an air filter.

Where are you guys getting your filters from?

Which filter is a good filter? I have seen Mahle and Hengst....any other brands.

Kind of expensive compared to the rest, but a good thing is it is reusable.

I would stick to an MB or OEM filter. The K&N quality has been pretty poor lately. $60 sounds high for a paper filter, autohausaz.com charges $29 for the Mann/Mahle-Knecht. Buy something else to make it over $50 for free shipping. Maybe you need belts or the cabin filter. Also, Autozone sells a Beck-Arnley filter for $25.

I thought of getting a K&N but I seen a few threads dissing the K&N and people having problems didn't really read through the threads but I know if you over oil a reusable filter you're going to ruin the MAF.
