Oh shit I promised my wife that a Mercedes was a reliable car (new owner) and after a wonderful drive along the coast my car wants to stall after stopping at a light after getting of the freeway. This has also happened after an enthusiastic accelleration in town (i'm coming from a mini van) after stopping and trying to accelerate at the green light. The car has 90,000km/55,000 miles and is due for a service soon. Now she won't drive it till i get it fixed!
my homeboy's c240 was doing the same thing and mine started doing the same exact thing after air filter replacement at the dealership.
I took both cars home and looked at the whole piece that holds the air filters and guess what? Happens to be the clips that hold the air canister in place. The ones on the back were not clipped all the way in. After this 15 minute fix, both cars have not done it at all.
check on this first and see if this helps.
