Service A on a Used 2005 C230K SS

Hi, I posted previously on 'proud new owner', just picked up the car yesterday. No pics yet since it hasn't been detailed yet but I'll post some in a couple weeks.

Anyway my question is regarding the A-Service. The message center says
"Service A in 5400 kms" there is 57000 kms on the car now.

I didn't get a manual with the car so I'm not even sure what the Service A is? But from what I've gathered it's the first major service on the car which is less than what the ODO says??

Also it's saying to add 1L of oil but I'm not sure what grade (no manual) to add. Should I just get and oil change instead of adding?

Also what is the best way to get a manual? From the dealership?

I may have answered my own question... Does the A service just mean an oil change?? I thought it meant some special service done briefly after breaking in the car.

Anyways, I still need a manual if anyone has a .pdf, otherwise I'll get one from the dealer if necessary.

service a is a 27 point inspection for the car usually its just fluids windshield rotate tires check other simple stuff but none the less its needed also someone is selling the manuals in dvd version somewhere in this forum you should check it out goodluck with everything

Since August 2004, got most of the bugs worked out...mostly minor things so far. Here are the oil specs I forgot to email you:

Mobil 1 Formula M 5W-40 229.5
