I have a 03 230 Sport Coupe, with the misfire issues. 2 & 4 fail to fire properly on certain occasions. My situation is different from others in the fact that 99% of the time it only happens when the vehicle approaches redline or in the redline. Here resently about 3times a week. Went to Autozone for download, kicked out code P0010, which says its the A position camshaft actuator electrical position . Is this referring to the cams shaft sensor. This problem has occured since I bought the vehicle in 2004 w/ 20000 miles on it. Merc. has since replace the computer (2), the top end of the motor, all coil packs and the latest service campaign for the S/C hose.
Now that it is no longer under warranty, I tend to do my own maint. Anybody else out there with any suggestions. Thanks in advance
