Post What is my C-Class worth? Possible Trade In?

I'm moving south and the idea of getting a CLK320 crossed my mind. I'm a big dreamer but won't go through with anything unless it makes sense financially because I am VERY happy with my c320. So what do you think it's worth?:

2003 c320 4matic (3.2L, 6 Gear Touchshift)
Just over 22,000 miles
Bi-Xenon, Wood Grain, Bose Premium Sterio, Command, 6 Cd Changer, Leather, Heated Seats, Rear Sun Shade, Dual Climate Control, Memory Seats, Fog Lights ummm ... Extras S-class LED tails, CL grill (but i'd take them off if I did trade it in)

I don't want to loose any of my options just pretty much add the convertable top (although i'd loose a gear with the clk320) but thats ok with me. I love my silver but found a Blue/Tan CLK320 fully loaded with an asking price of $27,900 with 30,434

kbb says around 18k to 22k in really prestine condition. remeber that any aftermarket or add-ons done by you do not add value to the car.

Take about 5% - 10% off of KBB for realistic pricing in this market.

What is that suppose to mean? Lower than $22k? I was thinking more like $24-26k ... maybe a little more?

take in consideration the current economic situation, gas prices and cost of living. A lot of people are now buying smaller cars. 6 cylinders and premium only cars will become a thing of the past if gas prices continue to rise.

I am driving my little 4 cylinder truck right now cause filling up the tank with premium is getting expensive here in Cali.

c320's here in Cali are going from 16k to 19k in fact the wagon version is more expensive going for 21k and up.

If you are planing a trade the dealership will give you next to nothing but if you sell privatly, you are probably going to get a bit more but not much.

Those cars they are no where near as loaded as mine although they state they are fully loaded. The dealership by me is selling 04 c320s for like $26-$28 that is why I was curious. If I could get a good value and swap for a CLK for a couple grand I'd consider doing so. Otherwise they can kiss my & i'll keep my whip.

I'm going ask when I go to the dealership's spring sales event this saturday for some service a free gift and hopefully get to test drive an SL65 ///amg weather permitting.

you also have to remember that 2003 and 2004 are not the same year. I wanna make sure you understand that you are not going to get 24k - 26k out of the dealer. They are in the business of making money - not breaking even. Just wanted to point that out.

If you get the clk for an additional 2k or 3k plus your car let me know cause i am driving your way to get myself one. LOL

& my car has half the miles and is loaded .. I would expect to get more for it although i'm not denying the dealership would try to f*ck me then turn around and sell it for what it's really worth.

I don't get it...I thought everyone knew about Kelly Blue Book, it's not tough to go to their website, plug in some figures and voila, you get a trade in and private party value. If you think you can get more, check Autotrader and see what people in you area or asking for similarly equipped models. Why is this a thread topic?
