Thank God I spent the extra $10 a month to do the wheel and tire replacement thing when I bought the car. This is the 4th tire that I've had to have replaced b/c it bubbled.
Has anyone else had this issue? Wondering what the cause was

i'm assuming it's a slightly bent rim that's causing it
as for the brabus exhaust, I got it online.
i'm happy with the sound, but it's definitely not loud. if you want loud and great tone, go with supersprint.
There's 2 stores in jersey that handle brabus, lorinser and supersprint installs that I'd trust. I mean you see Bentleys getting done up there. so you know your ride's in good hands.
I have a small bubble on one of my tires prob from a pot hole. Where are those two places in Jersey? I live on the boarder of upper NJ/Montvale ... which is where Mercedes USA is located.
The most common cause is pot holes. Besides that, I think the only other cause would be defective tires, but what are the odds?
I have a 2003 C240 4Matic with the 16 inch steel wheels. I have had my wheels straightened at the very least four times due to hitting potholes.
I was just thinking the same thing. What brand of tires do you have? I've only seeing this happened with cheap O Tires.

I would def love to go with brabus. That is the sound/audio level i am looking for... How much did you pay and where did you get it online ?? got a www. BLANK BLANK .Com hahhaa
I am currently running Goodyear TripleTread. I am not having any problems with these tires, just the Contis that came with the car. The only problem I get here and there is a bent rim. Potholes around here is a big problem. My brother just destroyed two rims on his 2004 PT GT Turbo. The city is picking up the tab. The 17 inch five-spoke original rims cost C$995, each! Sucks to be the city!
i would say either you drive like a maniac or your area has large potholes its ok it happens to people ive just replaced 3 bent rims 3 oem 17inches the bubbles look like a bruise on the tire if im correct like on the wall of the tire?
