05 C240 My center console cup holder seems to be slow coming up when I push the open button. At times it even gets a little "stuck" near the top and needs assistance reaching the fully open position.
Is it electric or just spring loaded? If spring loaded, then try a touch of WD-40 if you have access to the friction points or slide paths. The plastic might be deformed a bit and the WD-40 should free it up.
or buy a new one...I got one under warranty, and just replaced it again, as well as wiring a 3 outlet cig lighter outlet into the DIN space under the HU, so I can close the cover and not have crap fall in there.
