05 C230K w/50K on the ticker. the wife pulled out of the driveway and thought she had a flat as the car "felt" weird. so i took it for a spin and when turning at low speeds, the car exhibits a bounce for lack of a better term.
The searches I ran all mentioned noises related to worn bushings, but there were none that I could hear, just the weird bounce. Anyone point me in the right direction?
blown shocks. i.e. shocks doesn't absorb and rebound the impact = bounce
i suspected that a little while ago. i know the car has the "sport" package and would ride a little rough, but sometimes it seems to crash over bumps. i also did the bounce test on both front fenders and it had some give to it. i'm not sure how much is normal though.
since it's the wife's car and there's to need to go all out with the replacements, can anyone recommend a decent set? i love the bilsteins on my truck, but they're a little stiffer than OEM.
