So I've realized that the only tip I could put on my car without having to change the bumper is the oval CLK tip. Does anybody have pics of it?
For those of you that do have it. Can it be installed so that it points straight out? I've seen some pics with it angled down and not too crazy about it.
What about the amg tips? You don't need to replace the bumper for exhaust tips.
Those are my favorite...but a few people have said that in order to put those tips on the stock muffler I would have to change the rear bumper in order for the tips to clear the bottom of it.
Neither does mine but a good shop should be able to weld them to fit with your bumper. You talking about bending a couple inches of pipe then weld that to the muffler and your tips to the "extended pipe"
I actually just had a duel exhaust put in with 3" round slant tips...look good i can post a pic, th eony downfall and that what i am trying to solve right now is you can see little bit of the muffler the on one side and not the other
see below..thats the only pic i had on me celly

it similar to the old "Camaro' system...meaning they used a single muffler with dual out, one out is right next to the in and other out on the other side. so where you normaly have muffler is that muffler and the right pipe comes around the spare wheel housing. So both pipes are fully finctional, its just the guys who did it either didnt have enough room to sink the muffler fully underneath or they simply couldnt do it cause spacing is so small. But i am left with either installing a rear valence, or undercarriage protector similar to what benzo has upfront. I mean the pipes and muffler are balck so 10 ft you cant see anything but the tips and it looks good, i might be just too picky. Here is another pic that i took this morn..not sure how much it shows ( i'll go out at lunch and see if i can get a better view with me celly)
