Hello
I own a 2005 C230 Kompressor (sedan). I purchased the car a couple of months ago with only 10.000 miles. My problem is that I feel a kind of little vibration when I stop on a red light and the shift gear is on Drive, especially if the A/C is on. i don''t feel that when the shift gear is on P. Than when i move the shift on N the little vibration is gone.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal or there is something wrong with my car ?:
It's probably one of the typical engine problems that car has. Search the forum for details but here's the 4 most common;
1. vacuum line under the intake is rotten and the leak is causing your idle roughness
2. exhaust valves gets dirty causing a leak causing a rough idle
3. cam sensors leak oil into wiring harness destroying the O2 sensors
4. MAF sensors get dirty, needs cleaning, can cause a rough idle
MB discontinued this motor after only 3 years because of problems.
there is an issue with the belt tensioners failing on the kompressor engines. the giveaway is when you put the car from park to drive and the car starts vibrating heavily in the engine bay.
