Repair Procedure for fixing front bumper that caught on Parking Barrier (pics)

So you all remember this...:ack:

First I have to say.. The Mercedes is the strangest car I ever worked on.. Wheel Bolts? WTF.. no lug nuts....:willy:

First remove the Fog light Grill

These Clips allow it to pop out..

Then jack up and remove the wheel, remove the inner fender liner and hold back the rest with a hanger..

Then remove the Fender to bumper clamp

Then Remove the Bumper clamp.. This thing simply uncrews

Once the bumper is push back into place you need to put the bumper clamp back on and use a screwdriver to tighten it..

Put the fender to bumper clamp back on and adjust everyting before tightenening up.. and Viola!!

Thanks man.. I am sure it's not salt... it's a Florida Car born and raised.. It's actually mud from driving in the rain.. I have not gotten a chance to detail her fully.. Only a week old..

Man. I let me wife drive my C32, and she rips the front bumper just like your pix. I'm no mechanic so I took it to the body shop to have it reattached. Cost me $120... but the Inner Fender liner is torn. So I'll have to buy a replacement for it. Does anyone know where I can pick one up?
