Long story short....I hit a pot hole, bent my rim, blew my tire and found out the dealership wanted $400 for one rim. I have a 2004 C320 4Matic with 16" OEM rims. Please forgive me if I am not including all the information needed. I am new to the world of Mercedes and just bought it in August.
I found a complete set of 16" 7 spoke rims (7 1/2J 16H2) on craigslist and got a great deal for all 4. After driving over 400 miles to get them and putting one of them on we realized real quick it was too wide by 1/2". We were already home and were not going to drive back for a refund even if the guy would have given us one. VERY FRUSTRATED and BROKE I am at a loss of what to do. Please offer up any suggestions. They are like new and I just wish they fit. They came off of a 2001 E class. Do I sell them? Is there a way to make them fit??

a picture and the offset would help us help you. if it doesn't hit the caliper or if it doesn't cause the tire to hit the suspension you will have no problem running 7.5" wheels.
the W203 can go up to 8.5 or even 9 with the correct offset and 9.5-10 in the rear.
