I have a 2001 C240. Normally, my dealer does a very good job of maintaining
my car. About a year ago, at 60,000 miles, they recommended that the sparkplugs be changed. But when I looked at the original MB sales brochure last week, it talks about 100,000 mile sparkplug changes.
So the question is, when should you change the sparkplugs?
MB recommend them at 5 years or 100,000 miles.if it was my car I would have done them already. i dont agree with plugs being changed at 100,000 miles, after 50k, they should be replaced.

Assuming the gas mileage is still normal and it still passes the SMOG test
with low emissions, what would be the reason(s) for changing sparkplugs
at 50k?
