How do I use the A/C controls?

I just purchased a used 2003 C-320. There was no manual included. When I press the Auto button on the A/C unit it blows hot air. How do I turn the A/C on properly? Does anyone have a link to the PDF version of the manual on the Mercedes web site? Thanks.

press the button that says auto. this will switch it from auto mode to manual mode, and then u'll be able to control it by urself...u should be able to. see if what i said works

Look at the bottom and see if the EC button is lit up. If the EC light is on and won't go off, then you might need your freon charged up. I had this done 3 weeks ago.

If you're in Auto mode, it will do whatever to get the inside temperature to match what you set it to. If it is hot outside and it is shooting out hot air for more than a minute or two, then it's probably the freon, not the auto/manual setting.
