2007 C230/C280 sport wheels? Ya or Nah?

I not a big fan of the edgey 2007 C230/C280 sport wheels. The car has all smooth lines, but the wheels are edgey and sharp. Too me they look out of place. I think the 2004-2005 sports 5-spoke wheels look smooth and the 2001-2003 sport 7-spoke wheels are cool too. But my vote is nah to the 2007 wheels.

I agree. When I bought my 07 I asked for a set of 06 wheels as I prefer them.

I used to like the 06 Sport wheels better as well but since I got my 07 I must admit the new ones have grown on me. I couldn't imagine that car with the 06 rims now and a lot of people have commented how much they like them. My 2 cents!

I love the '07 rims. I think they are much nicer than the '06's. In fact when we were at the dealership, I had to double check they were the stock rim and not aftermarket or optionals.

Thumbs down on the '07 wheels. From dead on they remind me of late-1980s Nissan wheels. The rears look cool and aggressive from an angle but the flatter fronts are boring.

I agree, it doesn't fit the current body style and was probably thrown out there because of the W204 that has edgier styling which is inline with DC's design strategies like the Dodge Caliber and Nitro. What's funny is DC's merger taking MB design cues from Dodge like Renault's influence on Nissan designs. Let's just hope Jaguar's don't start looking like Ford Fusions, haha.
