i personally like the clear lights better thats what i have on my c230, but than again mine is silver and the tint one looks pretty good too. i think either one is nice but i would prob lean more towards the clear indicators
Tinting a part is easy - it all depends on how you want to do it...
Hobby craft way -
Go to local hobby store - or the hobby section at Wal-Mart - buy Testors brand tint....lay your lens (light on newspaper) spray until desired look...
Automotive way -
Put on gloves, tape off the socket opening, wipe the parts with prepsol, scothbrite very lightly the lenses, prepsol again, inspect, use final clean, then wipe with a tach cloth, place light into a horizontal postition to paint (paper cups work well) make the mixed tint - a mixture of Chromabase clear a Dupont tint, or body color, add to HVLP gun, spray on a test piece of clear plexi first - adjust tint until you get the look in two coats...then spray your parts, once tinted - let air dry for 20 minutes, then bake at 130* for a half hour...
