HID question

1. Does anyone know what tempture the stock HID bulb is?

2. Im looking to purchase new bulbs only, my question is which one do i get? H1, H7, 9005, 9006, D25, D28 ETC.

3.Is there a brand anyone recommends for an after market bulb, i want a slight blue tint in the lighting but dont want a deep blue. Ive seen some 8000k tempature bulbs that are slighyly blue and them some that are super dark blue.

my left hid bulb went out and the dealer replaced it, not the pair doesnt match, the new one has a bit of a dirty yellow look to it compared to the original bulb.

thanks.

1. I believe the temperature is 4300k.

2. Depends what type of housings you have..My car c230 takes the H7 halogens..the D series are only if you have an HID kit..

3. Phillips are really good for HIDs. Piaas are good pretty expensive. The Silverstars are ok. But the higher the temperature you go the less light output you have..
