ticking?

does anyone know what this is?




I get an intermittant ticking noise from the part where the black and red cable goes in?

You can feel the vibe the ticking makes and is located in the front of the engine bay to the right, next to the esp (UK car).

Please help?

I has something to do with emissions I'm quite sure.

its the purge valve u can have them change it to the newer version it ticks alot less
