Where is the purge valve?

I have that loud ticking sound coming from under the hood. From all the searching it seems that I have a ticking purge valve. My '01 is out of warrenty, so I'd like to try and fix it myself. I've read that people have had the purge valve itself replaced and also saw one post of just the bracket being replaced. However I don't know where exactly the purge valve is.

the Stealership(dealership) should be able to change it free or they may charge u like $80 for it aiight lol hope this helps you

That was actually an update on the 01's I believe and Mercedes should take care of it free of charge.. its not actually changing the valve itself.. its just changing the mount.
