Inexpensive MAF

I purchased a MAF for $35 from an online vendor just to find out if they might be a viable replacement for an OEM Bosch MAF which runs $180. I was happily surprised how well the replacement MAF performs. Reading OBDII codes, the short/long fuel trim is running at zero. The MAF graph shows good response. The car idles and runs great. I will have a smog station check the CO emission just to be sure.

The replacement MAF is an A1 CarDone available from multiple online vendors. Now I see it being sold for under $30.

I'm not trying to convince anybody not to use OEM parts, but this is worth checking out.
