my 95 c36 has the ASR V system which has the asr off switch. In off mode throttle control is disabled and only ETS (brake emulation of LSD) remains active. In off mode engine brake control goes to less sensitive mode as well. The systems are fairly smart and the algorithms for the ETS do help but i still rather an LSD to compliment them.
In off mode i have noticed that when i do a fairly long burnout or if get too side ways at high speed and lots of rear tire spin the ASR throws a fault killing the fun by reducing throttle to limp home mode, which need the engine to be switched off and back on to remove the fault. In this case and every time the fault registered in the memory is the front right vss ! Ihave checked that vss and it reads true so i think its how the ecu is programed to react to an extreme loss of traction situation. I can be wrong thou abt this.

Im having alot of issues with my 36 and been trying to sort everything out. I am lacking alot of power, and when the lights came on it freed up lots of power.. anyone know what can cause this?
