How can you by looking in the engine bay, tell if the engine is a 4.3 or a 5.5 ?

No, mine is the only one I have seen.

The c55 made in 99 and 00 has the speedo, but mine is an 98

There were about only 30 C55 W202s made world-wide. It is a very rare car.

The paper label on the left under the airfilterbox says m43. So I have to settle with the speedo
