The CLS Steering Wheel Conversion Thread

Hey guys,

Thought I would have a little fun today and try something new. Swapped over to CLS500 steering wheel today, it is roughly the same size, slightly smaller (probably by 5-10mm, not much). It did take some work and there is some modification required but I definitely came out very nice. It is a bit of work but due to legality reasons I won't do a writeup for it. If you want instructions I will provide them with the extra CLS wheel I have for sale

I do have an extra CLS steering wheel brand new if anyone is interested, I'll sell it ready to install in a W202 for $55 shipped.

Is the airbag included? Also, doesn't the CLS have controls on the steering wheel? Were you able to get those controls to work too?

The controls on most of the new airbags actually mount onto the airbag directly. If you connect primary stage of the updated airbag it should work fine.
