I bought a used '94 C280. It was the first Benz I ever drove. I thought the seats were leather, but it sounds like they may be MB-Tex. How do I tell the difference. I don't know if this makes any difference, buy the center panels of the seats are perforated, and the doors have loosly gathered inserts.
Hi,<p>You definitely had leather. In almost all MB's with leather, the door have loosely gathered leather and the seats will have perforated leather. Also, leather is softer and smoother looking than MB-Tex and the doors with MB-Tex are smooth and don't have the gathered look.<p>Troy
