where did you race?

: maybe he was a poor driver as i forgot to mention that there were a lot of cars on that turning highway. I was a substitute driver for the Toyota-TOM'S-Castrol team in the 1998-1999 Asian Touring car Championships. (= That's why I said it might have been just the driving and the balls. Benz drivers....PLEASE READ

OK you guys. Get real now. I know you guys want to feel good with your benzes. You guys think you are the fastest cars on the planet and you guys will beat any type of car out there, but its ok i am not mad at you guys. When My car was stock which is a 325is. I was on 280N in the bay area coming back from a party. I had 3 heads in my car and i saw this kited up C280. I pulled up beside him in the fast lane and basically instigated a race. I dropped my car into 4th gear and he dropped his car into 4th gear and counted out to 3 with his hands. We both gunned it and i took him all the way up to 143mph. I got scared and so i decided to slow down. The benz was about 200ft behind me because he slowed down before me. I had about a 3 car head lead from him in about 5 seconds. I totally blew him away. anyways, He flags me down and tells me to pull over. We exit and we start talking. The guy was a nice guy and I hope we meet again. I Have nothing agains
benzes but please dont say you guys can beat an m3 because a 325is can take a c280. If you guys dont believe me I am in the San Francisco in any of you guys dont believe me email me. We can set an appointment for a little run anywhere you want.
HAVE A NICE DAY YOU GUYS
And one thing Dont talk about Performance with your 99.9% automatic cars. Leave it to BMW where it belongs

my M3 beats a C43

The C43 might have 19 hp more than my Euro M3 (286 hp) and lots of torque, but when the M3 gets in his high rev range, the C43 can't keep up.
mill
1993 euro M3

Raced an M3 today and...

... I was surprised that my C280 was starting to pull away from the M3 when we reached high gears.Anyway, I didn't leave him far behing and he was probably just a poor driver, but I didn't expect to gain much leverage over an M3. C36/43 owners- Maybe you can teach those Bimmers a thing or two.

Do you have any mods in your car ?(m)

I really doubt that a stock C280 could catch up to an M3.
Besides being an automatic, the M3 has a lot more torque than
our cars or maybe like you said, he was a bad driver.
Ron C.
: ... You are so full of it (more)

Man, even the conservative 0-60 #'s posted in Road and Track don't support your b.s. The ///M turns sub-6 second times. Your puny-motored C280 can't hang with that. The other guy was probably nodding off when you pulled up, and decided not to waste gas in his ///M just to dust a non-sports car.
Regards
PeterE
'97 M3/4
The fastest production 4-door available in the US until the M-5 arrived.
Your M3 became obsolete when the S4, C43 came...

The M5 couldn't even finish the Autocross track I participated in. the S4's ate your M3/4 (fastest production car in US blah, blah, blah) for breakfast Peter. Accept it. Or maybe you'd want to go to vicinities.com/MCLUB
