Water leak from A-Pillar

While driving in the rain the other night I noticed a water leak from the top of the A-Pillar where the pillar trim meets the headliner. Water was soaking into the trim and dripping.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about finding a solution?

Quick google searches suggest checking the sunroof drains, but my sunroof is stuck closed. It never worked since I bought the car. The sunroof makes a noise and stops, in all directions. I can't manually open it with the crank either, it's completely stuck.

Most likely its the sunroof drains not doing their thing. You can probably find a replacement motor on ebay for around 60 or 70 bucks used which should allow you to move it again. You may need to resync it again as well. Until you do this, its probably going to leak. Once you get the top moved back, you can chase the clogs with a pipe cleaner.

I've been meaning to replace the motor anyway to fix the sunroof so I bought one on ebay. We'll see later this week if that allows me to fix both issues.

Thanks
