2007 C280 with P2006 & P0022 Codes

Hey All.... I've got a 2007 C280 with P2006 & P0022 Codes.

My vin # is WDBRF92H07F906832 with about 77,762 miles on it.


The car appears to run ok despite the light, but I'd like to get a leg up on this if I could get some help.

I've searched and have not found incidence of BOTH codes at the same time....

Does anyone out there have any thoughts on this one?

P0022 = cam postion sensor
P2006 = broken actuator rod (or false/ghost code)

Thank you.... I got the codes.

Is it reasonable to assume the cam sensor set the other code or the other way around.

Which would it be smarter to go after first?

Is there a visual clue to look for or is either more common?

This is the second time the codes set (think the P0022 was first) after clearing both in a short amount of time.

Any thoughts?
