Interior lights not working

Hey everyone so i went to replace my interior
Dome and map lights to LEDs and after i put the dome lights in it was fine. But when i went to screw the map light on, everything went pitch black. Even my deck went out. The radio reset itself, loosing all my presets. Works though. Ive looked at the fuse and it wasnt blown out at all. I tried puttin my stock lights back on and i get nothing either. Whats wrong with it? I opened up the dome light fixture and it doesnt look like there are any fuses up there either. I did notice this though, not sure if its the cause or not

Those two metal things. Are they suppose to be connected at all? It looks like two little pieces might have broke off somehow? One on the left. And one on the right. No signs of burning or anything, but looks like maybe they broke off of eachother? Not sure if this is the case but im trying to narrow down all the problems.

I even replaced the fuse with another new one just to see if itll fix it. But no. Still doesnt work

Please help me out, im running out of ideas and i cant see a thing without the interior lights

Also, is this suppose to be connected to anything? I saw it when i took out the dome light fixture thing. It looks like a female harness with blue and black wires wrapped with foam

Don't know about the LED's.

But does your car have the autodimming rear view mirror? That plug might be there to send the autodimming signal to your left side mirror if it did.

Mercedes-Benz - Engineered like no other car in the world.

i did have auto dimming rear view, until it broke, then i switched to non auto dimming. I like it better because not only is it slightly longer, but i like the way it looks. But the auto dimming rear view mirror harness is totally different, since i dont use the auto dim anymore, the harness just sits next to the new rear view mirror. This harness was definately not connected to the mirror.

AHHHH i need help with this interior light. I can see!!
