Battery disconnect and reconnect help?
I had to disconnect the battery on my wifes 1996 C Class W202 the other day for 5 mins. When I reconnected the battery the car would not idle properely and I had to keep my foot on the gas for a while until it settled. It has got better now its been driven, but it still requires a bit of revving first thing in the morning before it will idle sometimes.
Is there a start up procedure to follow on this model? (I have a CLK and there is a series of tasks I have to do in order to to sync the car back again)

I have disconnected my battery without the issues you describe so I doubt they are normal. In my experience, you should only need to re-sync the windows and sunroof after a battery disconnect. Have you tried it again, this time tap the brakes a few times to fully discharge and then reconnect and see if it's fixed?
